Casanova RVC-1 90s vintage glasses
Casanova eyewear brand emerged in the early 1980s in Italy and swiftly gained recognition for their artistic frames that were inspired by the vibrancy of the Venetian carnival. They showcased ingenious designs, playful elements and a burst of colours. Some models were produced in extremely limited editions making them very rare collectors items, today these frames are very sought after and appreciated by all eyewear enthusiasts.
We are happy to present this Casanova RVC-1 vintage optical frame from the 1990s, part of the Rietveld Collection inspired by Dutch architect and De Stijl designer Gerrit Rietveld.
The frame plays with the same geometric language that defined Rietveld’s work: strong horizontal lines, sharp triangular details and small touches of red, yellow and black against the gold-tone metal construction. It’s graphic and architectural, but still very wearable.
An original unworn new old stock piece in size 50-20, fitted with demo lenses and ready for prescription lenses.

The key measurement is the frame width, which is the distance from the inside of the right temple to the inside of the left temple. To ensure a perfect fit width-wise, we recommend measuring an existing frame that fits you comfortably, providing a valuable reference.
