Christian Roth is one of the names that helped turn eyewear into a proper design category rather than just an accessory. The label was started in 1983 by Christian Roth and Eric Domège, and by the mid-1980s its frames were already appearing on fashion runways. Roth became the first eyewear designer invited to join the CFDA in 1990.

We are happy to present these Christian Roth Rock ’N Roth sunglasses from the 2018 collection, made in Italy.
This model revisits the dramatic cat-eye shape Christian Roth first introduced in the early 1990s. The exaggerated butterfly silhouette is built from layered black and tortoiseshell acetate, paired with softly tinted gradient lenses. The shape is glamorous and unapologetically feminine without feeling costume-like.
