Neostyle Nautic 2 sunglasses

€399,00 EUR

Neostyle is a German eyewear brand founded in 1961 by Walter A. Nufer. From the beginning, the idea was to make eyewear that had more character than purely functional frames, with strong shapes, careful detailing and a clear design identity.

The brand became especially well known in the 1970s, when chief designer Konstantin Livas created the Nautic model. It went on to be worn by Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Telly Savalas and Don King, giving Neostyle a very recognizable place in vintage eyewear history.

Vintage Neostyle frames are typically substantial, technically well made and very much products of their era - exactly the sort of eyewear that still has real presence today.

We are happy to introduce the Neostyle Nautic 2 sunglasses, made in Germany and closely associated with Elvis Presley, who wore the model during the 1970s.

This is a substantial piece of eyewear: a heavy metal frame with flexible spring hinges and an extra-wide 145 mm fit. At around 54 grams, it has the solid feel and oversized proportions that made the original Nautic design so recognisable.

This example is the later reissue of the classic vintage model, finished in silver and preserved unworn.
