Cazal 243 vintage glasses from early 90s

€399,00 EUR

Cazal was founded in 1975 by designer Cari Zalloni and quickly developed a look that was unlike anything else in eyewear at the time.

The frames were bold, graphic and often deliberately oversized, with unusual constructions, strong colour combinations and details that made them instantly recognisable. Rather than following the fashion of the moment, Cazal created its own visual language.

That originality, together with high-quality German production, is what made vintage Cazal eyewear so influential and why the best early models are still highly sought after today.

We are happy to present this Cazal 243 vintage optical frame from the early 1990s, designed by Cari Zalloni.

The combination of black and gold works especially well on this model, giving the large shape a clean, elegant look. The double bridge and slightly angular lines keep it recognisably Cazal, but this is one of the more restrained and wearable designs from the period.

An original unworn new old stock piece in size 55-17, with demo lenses ready to be replaced with prescription lenses.
